Rathgael House, Bangor
Rathgael House, beside the Rathgael Road roundabout on the Newtownards Road, was built (with an adjacent factory) for occupation by the business owned by the carpet maker Cyril Lord Image After the fall of that empire it was acquired (early 1970’s) for occupation by the Department of Education - then based in Dundonald House Image The brick building (right) is a much later addition. Last seen in Image (July 1986).
