Sun Alliance House, Belfast
See Image Sun Alliance House replaced the “Athletic Stores” at the corner of Queen Street and Wellington Place. It has retained the name despite the merger with the Royal which, by coincidence, had offices on the opposite corner Image (out of picture to the left). See also Image

Demolition of the "Athletic Stores", Belfast
Built in 1896 to a design by WJW Roome, the Athletic Stores (the dark building above the buses), at the corner of Wellington Place and Queen Street, was one of two proper sports shops in central Belfast. The premises were badly damaged by a fire bomb and lay vacant before (in this photo) being demolished. The business moved just around the corner to Queen Street Image Image shows the replacement.

College Street Mews, Belfast
College Street Mews https://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=127249292 in Belfast - really just a u-shaped entry between other buildings. The corner protection is on what looks like a very old building which fronts onto Wellington Place but pictures of it are very difficult as it is enclosed by others around it.

No 11 Wellington Place (middle) a listed (HB26/50/029 B) former terrace house (possibly mid-19th century) which has seen various uses including doctor’s and dentist’s surgeries and a spell as the “Royal Hotel". Latterly a solicitor’s office. Now vacant and offered to let.
