"Arthur's Day" billboard, Belfast
Although not strictly home of Guinness, Belfast is Ireland's second city - therefore the 250th anniversary of the day Arthur Guinness was granted the lease of the St. James' Gate Brewery in Dublin did not go unnoticed by any means. Just see the crowd less than a mile away at the Hatfield: Image

Belfast City Centre - Colourful Building along North Side of May Street
Location is second building west of Seymour Street. View is from south side of May Street. I'm amazed that a lot of buildings in Belfast are not identified by a sign of some sort that displays the name of the building and the address and name of the business or businesses located there. I'm intrigued that this building only has the one blue door as an entrance. This doesn't appear to be a dwelling of any sort.

Belfast - City Centre - Colourful Red and Blue Four-Storey Building along May Street
Location is along the north side of May Street between two taller buildings (Leslie Studios at left and Goodwood House at right) and between Montgomery Street to west and Seymour Street to east. View is to the northeast from the south side of May Street. This particular building is not identified at the front, so it might be a dwelling.

Site, Victoria Street, Belfast (1)
See Image In the light of its near neighbour it is possible to overlook this small piece of vacant land at the southern end of Victoria Street. It is being advertised as a site for a small office building. Given its proximity to the Law Courts it might be an ideal location for a solicitor’s practice. Continue to Image (September 2008).

Seymour Street, Belfast (2)
See Image The view towards May Street with Telephone House in the background. Gloucester Street is on the left. The street has changed over the last 150 (or so) years. Now just service entrances and a private car park, it was mixed residential and commercial and had St. Patrick's Orphan Asylum on the corner of May Street.
