Corporation Street (part), Belfast (1990)
The eastern side of Corporation Street, between Corporation Square (marked by Sinclair Seaman’s church Image (middle left)) and Waring Street. The Design Centre Image is under construction (middle right). The buildings on the right have since been demolished. The area between the Design Centre and the church was cleared to make way for the M3 Image and the railway to Yorkgate Image Image shows a similar view in 2011.

Gamble Street, Belfast (1990)
A street running from Corporation Street to Donegall Quay (middle background), built in the early part of the 19th century. Close to the harbour, it was associated with the hospitality (bars and accommodation) trade for much of its early existence. Everything in this photograph (including the coal and scrap yards on Queen’s Quay (far background) was cleared to make way for the M3 Image and the railway to Yorkgate Image The Design Centre Image site is behind the blue fence (lower right).
