River House, Belfast (September 2007)
River House, in High Street, was built in the early 70’s. The land had been vacant since WWII when much of High Street was flattened by the Luftwaffe. This had been (I think) the last remaining Blitz site in central Belfast.

Former National Bank, Belfast
The ground floor of the former National Bank (later Bank of Ireland) Image at High Street. Work has been underway inside during the past week. Media reports suggest that it will become a “cafe” and artisan bakery/patisserie. Very welcome news for the “dead” side of the street. Continue to Image (20 September 2013).
