Harp Bar punk rock plaque, Belfast (March 2015)
A self-explanatory plaque at the site of the old “Harp Bar” (now Housing Executive offices) at 10-16 Hill Street. In addition to the founding of Belfast punk the premises were also known for their “exotic” dancer.

Poster, Belfast
Poster on the front of an electricity substation on Hill Street in Belfast. The poster appears to feature the face of local politician Ian Paisley, Jr. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Paisley,_Jr superimposed onto the head of the supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) Kim Jong-un http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Jong-un . Sunday morning, Hill Street, Belfast (August 2019)
The view from the Waring Street end. It can be quite busy on a Sunday morning with locals and visitors heading towards the coffee shops and restaurants in the Cathedral Quarter. I had to wait a few minutes to record it without people. Nos 10-16 (second left) are awaiting a decision on the planning application for conversion to a hotel.

Warehouse Lane, Belfast
Warehouse Lane runs from Exchange Place Image to Waring Street Image Closed to the public for many years it re-opened recently following the building of a new hotel Image Not shown in the 1:12,000 OS street map but it did appear as a numbered street in the 1:10,000 1980 edition. The “warehouse” was, it seems, a bonded one for wines and spirits.
