2009 : A37 Breakfast at Farrington Gurney
Anyone making an early start from Bristol going south on the A37 would be spoilt for choice for breakfast here. Full English breakfast with free cup of tea at the Farrington Inn, and the Little Chef across the road. Better than Tiffanys.

Farrington Gurney Methodist church
Coa-lmining forms a large part of the village's history. This church was founded in the early 1820s but this site was chosen in the 1880s for a new version. The land is part of the Duchy of Cornwall and is in the realm of the Manor House in the village. The new church cost £485, with a further £129 spent on the furnishings. As demand increased, it was enlarged and upgraded: a schoolroom was added in 1909; electric lighting in 1931; a new toilet and kitchen in 1971; and in 2012 work started to bring a new central heating system.
