Or at least the site of it - opposite the former Winterbourne flour mill.

Ride on!
A blocked road is no problem for the many horses that abound in this part of the world.

The Frome below the old Winterbourne Mill
The river here carries plenty of power for milling. The mill just upstream of the bridge is long closed but produced flour in its day.

Frome Valley Walkway sign
The walkway is a 29km (18 mile) route that follows the River Frome from its source near Chipping Sodbury (not Frome in Somerset!) and on to Bristol. The river does indeed afford the glimpse of a kingfisher if you are very patient.

Spanning the River Frome
A bridge, aluminium on the top (and having a Millennium Bridge shake if provoked) sits on stone foundations. Presumably there was an older bridge that was replaced by the new one, although old maps don't show a crossing. There were, however, stepping stones at one time.
