A pride in public conveniences
The old public block on the seafront is a fine example of the way the Victorians regarded the provision. Note the many fine details and civic pride they were made with. Dated 1905.

Public Lavatories
Now partly converted to a café and shop this Edwardian edifice was built in 1905 and Grade II Listed in 1999. The flat roof sections were probably added later.
