Large scale art
One of the larger artworks to appear in the city centre of late, thanks to a concerted push to add a little colour and feature to this part of town. No reference is made locally to explain what the subject or content is, so make your own minds up. See Image] for more.

Not finished yet?
The unavoidable Nick Walker mural now has an additional footing. A lot of the area has had a fresh lick of (aerosol) paint. See Image] for the older version.

Bristol : Quay Street - Street Art
This was painted in August 2011 for the 'See no Evil' street art project. Some of the world's best graffiti artists were positively welcomed by the authorities, to brighten up drab 1960s buildings in the area around Nelson Street, and to attract tourists. The Vandal character, who wears a smart suit and hat while throwing tins of paint around, has appeared in several of Nick Walker's artworks in Europe and the USA.

Pin-striped painter
Another of Bristol's extreme urban paintings, one of many in the area, to brighten up the acres of grey concrete. Not sure what the meaning of it is though. See Image] for a closer look or Image] for more hereabouts.

Some of the many ways Bristol has embraced the can culture. The larger paint-pouring work is the eldest here.
