Taken on the occasion of an open day to celebrate the garage's centenary . The garage was opened by the London General Omnibus Company and its associate East Surrey in 1925 and was owned thereafter by London Transport and its successors until 1986. Since then it has been used by a number of operators interrupted by periods of closure and since 2015 has been the main base of Go-Coach who run a network of local bus services.

Swanley bus garage - administration building
This part of the garage was built in the Holden-Pick style favoured by London Transport between the Wars. The garage itself was opened in 1925 and following its initial closure in 1986 was used by several bus operators, the latest of which has been Go-Coach since 2015.
