Lynwood House
Former council offices constructed in 1926 when remains of an extensive Roman Villa were discovered in the grounds.
This is now preserved in an adjacent museum.

Crofton Roman Villa
In this building, situated close to Orpington Station, are the remains of a roman villa. These were discovered in 1926, but only properly excavated in 1988 - see http://cka.moon-demon.co.uk/villa.htm
