The Five Bells
Built in 1668, and situated in old Chelsfield village (as opposed to the newer part of Chelsfield situated the other side of the A224, near Chelsfield railway station). Called the Five Bells after the number of bells in St Martin of Tours church (see Image). No longer valid, though, as a sixth bell was cast in 1936 to add to the five dating from 1672!
PS A further two bells were added in January 2009, bringing the total to eight.
