Bromley North Station
Looking across the concourse at this suburban terminus. There are some shops in operation, including an old coin dealers (whose table is in the foreground), but the place feels anything but lively. Trains run from here to Grove Park.

Bromley North Station
Bromley North station was opened in 1878 as the terminus for a two mile branch from Grove Park. The building was extensively rebuilt in the 1920s and is now grade II listed; it still proclaims Southern Railway ownership nearly 70 years after the demise of the company.

Bromley North railway station, Greater London
Opened in 1878 by the South Eastern Railway as its terminus on the short branch from Grove Park, this station was rebuilt in 1926 by the Southern Railway and is now Grade II listed. View north at the 1926 terminus building still proclaiming its Southern Railway builders. As built in 1878, the original buildings were of wooden clapperboard construction situated much further from the camera. According to old OS maps, the current building is on the site of a railway turntable. See also Image
