Bromley North Railway Station
The terminus of a branch line which currently has no direct trains to London. I understand reviews are in course to improve its links with other parts of the public transport network.

Bromley North Station
Bromley North station seems somewhat lost among the more modern buildings surrounding it. The station, at the end of a short branch line, was originally opened in 1878 but was rebuilt in the 1920s.

Bromley North railway station, Greater London
Opened in 1878 by the South Eastern Railway as its terminus on the short branch from Grove Park, this station was rebuilt as an island platform in 1926 by the Southern Railway. View south west towards the buffers. The 1878 station had two parallel platforms with three track between them, a turntable at the far end to turn incoming steam locomotives and wooden clapperboard buildings. The line was electrified in 1926 so no turntable was required for steam engines. The layout was therefore switched to this island platform with a goods yard containing 5 sidings to the far right of this view. That closed in 1968 - see Image See also Image for the Grade II listed 1926 station frontage.

Bromley North Station
Bromley North station was opened in 1878 as the terminus for a two mile branch from Grove Park. The building was extensively rebuilt in the 1920s and is now grade II listed; it still proclaims Southern Railway ownership nearly 70 years after the demise of the company.
