Charing Cross - Deal express east of Chislehurst
View NW, towards Chislehurst and London on the ex-SER main line from Charing Cross/Cannon Street to Folkestone, Dover etc. via Tonbridge and Ashford. The train is crossing the Victoria - Kent Coast main line in the middle of the complex of junctions which connect each route - and was easily accessible to the enthusiast. (See also Image]). The locomotive is Bulleid Light Pacific No. 34077 '603 Squadron' (built 7/48, rebuilt 7/60, withdrawn 3/67).

Otford Close, Bickley
Quite an impressive display of conifers for a minor suburban road. No doubt planted to shield the houses from the adjacent railway line. There is a Scots pine on the far left, but the others are probably non-native species. (Thanks to fellow Geographer 4wd for information.)
