Part of the development of a small estate built in 1946. Most of the houses are in a small cul-de-sac except numbers 1 to 6 which face onto the main village street.

Piddinghoe By-Pass
Built as long ago as 1923 to take motor traffic away from the narrow and winding village street. Once the A275 but downgraded to the C7 during the 1970s when port traffic from Newhaven was encouraged to use routes up the eastern side of the valley.
