Pond Mead
The name of this section of the modern field according to the 1839 tithe map. It has since been enlarged to include Five Acre Mead to the south though some of the trees that once formed the field boundary still exist. The houses beyond are in Galleybird Lane and are, from left to right, Vine Cottage, The Nook, Raemor and Oak Tree Cottage.
