On the lane as it descends steeply into the village. Some parts of the manor date back to the 17th and 18th centuries though the house has been extensively re-worked. The round tower was added in the 20th century.

Telscombe Manor
Located right on the village street. The house probably dates from the 16th century though it was substantially rebuilt during the 19th century. It was given to the National Trust in 1960 and used as judge's lodgings for those working at nearby Lewes until 2001. It is now a private residence.
