Old School Cottages
Located on Station Road just south of the bridge over Bevern Stream. The school was built in the 1870s to replace the one room building a couple of miles south in Plumpton and continued to serve the community until 1974 when it was closed and moved to a new site in Southdowns, a cul-de-sac a few hundred yards to the north. Since then the old school buildings have been converted into small terraced cottages and flats retaining the facade of the old hall. The bus stop is served by a two hourly service that runs between Lewes and Haywards Heath.
