Station Road

Plumpton Station
Taken a few minutes after sunrise with the early morning mist rising from neighbouring Plumpton Racecourse. The station opened with the line in 1863 and was the spur for the building of the racecourse and the growth of Plumpton Green.

Plumpton railway station, Sussex
Opened in 1863 by the London Brighton & South Coast Railway on the 1847 line from Wivelsfield (Keymer Junction) to Lewes.
