Winterbourne Cottage
Viewed from the junction of Winterbourne Lane with Winterbourne Hollow. The cottage is actually the former farmhouse of Winterbourne Farm which has been swallowed up by the growth of Lewes, some of the former barns have been converted into dwellings which now form Winterbourne Mews.

Winterbourne Stream
At first glance, this looks like an aerial view of a river running through a rain forest. I think the plants here are mostly Hemlock Water Dropwort (Oenanthe crocata) - but I could be wrong.

Winterbourne Stream
As the name suggests not much of a watercourse during the summer months though full flowing in the winter and due to its heavily culverted nature often the cause of flooding. It joins the Ouse after travelling through the Lewes Railway Land Nature Reserve opposite Cliffe. The footpath links Bell Lane with Rotten Row.
