Stuccles Farm
The current farmhouse dates back to the 18th century and has gone through a variety of different spellings on maps; Stuckles on Budgens 1724 map, Stuckholds on the 1842 tithe map, Stuckels on the 1875 OS map, back to Stuckholds again for the 1899 and 1910 versions, and finally Stuccles from the 1956 version onwards.

Walking on Thin Ice
A rather confusing footpath sign at Stuccles Farm, if you followed it to the letter you'd be walking across the frozen pond. However, the actual path is to the west just out of shot.
