Loja, Albourne Road, Hurstpierpoint
A Spanish hacienda type of residence that lies on the western side of the village that was built some time in the 1960s. The place is looking a bit run down at the moment though that may do with losing battle against an application to convert it to two storeys as well as its being on the market at the time of writing.

The Grange, Hurstpierpoint
A new development from 2008, see Image, and now named after a house that lies behind me to the south now known as Ladymead. The development was built on a couple of former fields called Box House Field and Lower Acres according to Hurstpierpoint's 1842 tithe map.
