In early September this pond was dry, the onset of autumn and its rains has meant the spring in the nearby field has started to flow again filling up this small pond next to the bridleway near Middleon Manor.

Court Wish
The name of the field according to the 1842 tithe map. The tree lies on a small brook, a tributary of Bevern Stream that rises in the field.
