Downs View Road
Small estate of the 1950s housing. Hassocks owes its existence to the coming of the railway in 1839 which turned empty fields and orchards into a small commuter town eclipsing the older nearby settlement of Keymer.

Hassocks Infant School
Originally built as a Board School in 1877 and subsequently in use as Hassocks Primary School, the building is now only used as an infants' school. The clock over the main entrance is Hassocks' Millennium Clock.
