War Memorial, St Andrew's Churchyard
Only covers the First World War of which there are ten people listed, quite a number considering that the population of Edburton has never gone into three figures since the census began. The memorial is next to the entrance to the church.

St Andrew's Church
Its actually easier to get a shot of the church 500 feet up than from the ground. The church is mainly from the 13th and 14th centuries though it incorporates a wall from an earlier time. The tower was restored in the late 19th century. The foliage hides Edburton House whose chimneys can be seen north east of the church, whilst the chimneys of Michaelmas Cottage are south west of the church. The field below seems to be used as a banger racing circuit judging by the oval shape and the cars parked there.

St. Andrew's, Edburton, West Sussex
Sadly, the church was locked on this occasion, but a previous visit one Autumn found a dark interior, dying flowers left over from Harvest Festival and endless buzzing from trapped flies.

Edburton House
The former rectory, there is still a lych gate leading through the hedge out of shot to the right. The original rectory collapsed around 1710 though the current building incorporates the remains of that building with added rebuilds from the 18th and 19th century. It became a private house in the 1950s.
