Saddlescombe Road
An old London-Brighton coach road which went via Devils Dyke, Henfield and Horsham. The road is a minor but well used one over the Dyke and joins the A281 at the roundabout ahead.

Footpath to Poynings
Viewed from the entrance to the field next to the roundabout with Poynings church which lies on the southern border of this grid square in the distance. Beyond that is the old Iron Age Fort which is on the northern side of Devils Dyke.
