The Montefiore Hospital, Davigdor Road, Hove
Originally built as a furniture repository for Hanningtons, see Image, and opened in 1904 to serve the removals side of their business. The building was sold to Legal & General in 1972 who refurbished the building and remained here until moving to new premises next to the greyhound stadium in 2005. The offices then remained empty for six years until it was purchased by Spire Healthcare who spent much of 2011-12 converting it into a private hospital opening in November 2012.

Colbourne Road
Looking down the length of the road from its eastern junction with Osmond Road towards Montefiore Road with the distinct design of the former Hanningtons furniture repository in the distance. The road was patchily developed starting in 1906 but not really completed until the late 1920s.
