Memorial weather vane
Weather vane on the cliffs above Saltdean. It was erected in 1995 to replace a wooden one dating from 1934, which had been installed by retired Royal Navy Commander W S Davenport of Peacehaven for reporting weather information to the press and which had been destroyed in the 1987 storm. The present structure has a time capsule buried beneath it, in commemoration of the 50 years since the end of the Second World War.

Monument, Saltdean Cliff Top
I think it is a war memorial but not entirely sure as I missed any markings on the monument. Located on the cliff top above the A259 on the eastern boundary of Saltdean with the redeveloped former Ocean Hotel in the distance in the centre.

38-42 Bannings Vale, Saltdean
The numbers pertain to the buildings on the left some of which once belonged to a farm called Lower Bannings. The oldest part is the barn, whose roof is visible on the left whilst the houses to the right are built within the site of another set of barns and seem to utilise a good deal of flint. The farmhouse appears to have been pulled down in 1934.
