Pedlarsburgh tumulus, Telscombe Tye
The tumulus' mound near enough conceals the last house on the right. Looking east from the bridlepath on Telscombe Tye. The houses in the background are part of Saltdean though governed from Telscombe Cliffs. The centre and western parts of Saltdean are part of Brighton City Council.

Telscombe Tye
A large tract of common land that separates the settlements of Telscombe Cliffs and Saltdean, part of which can be seen on the left. The clump of trees in the distance hides a house called St Michael's.

On the South Downs near Saltdean
This is quiet downland, with fine views back to the coast at Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven. This path leads to Telscombe. On this evening there were large numbers of sheep and lambs, as well as rabbits.
