Wartling Road
A minor road that begins at Pevensey then crosses the marshes to the village of Wartling before heading northwards towards Boreham Street. It can be quite a busy road.

Entrance to Converted Barn
Next to Wartling Road. Unfortunately, I've completely forgotten the name of the barn. A footpath runs to the left from here to Lawn Cottage further up the Wartling Road.

Dental Plain
Looking over the growing maize field towards Plantation Wood. All of this land was once part of Herstmonceux Park, the grounds of the nearby castle.

Plantation Wood
Near the entrance from Wartling Road. A bridleway heads southwards parallel to the road before joining up another one which heads westwards across the grounds of Herstmonceux Castle.

Wood Anemones, Wartling Wood
Carpeting the floor of the wood at this point. One or two bedraggled bluebells were also making an appearance in some areas.
