From the Pulpit at Wilmington Church
View of the altar and choir stalls at the St. Mary and St. Peters Church at Wilmington, East Sussex. The church is 12th century and lies at the foot of the 'Long Man', a giant chalk figure cut in the downs.

Drawfield Cottage

The Old Yew Tree at Wilmington Churchyard
The yew tree at Wilmington Church is reputed to be over 1600 years old. It was planted circa 400 AD and is believed to be the oldest yew tree in England. The trunk is massive and is so heavy it is supported by several sawn telegraph poles.

Drawfield Cottage
The drive to both this cottage and Image is also a public footpath here. The cottage dates from the first decade of the 20th century and was originally two dwellings to at least 1977 and is located off the main village street of Wilmington.
