Martello Tower 61, Pevensey Bay
This tower is now in the middle of the Martello Estate. It is in good order and is a private residence. A former resident was Val Princep, a marine artist who used the tower to paint extensive seascapes. During the Second World War position finding equipment was erected on the roof.
