Little High Field
The name of the field according to the 1838 tithe map and located to the west of Castle Farm which was known as Street Farm when the map was drawn. Taken ten minutes after sunrise with a layer of frost covering the ground.

Mud and Ice, Castle Farm
A heavy frost has left the pond frozen over and the mud quite hard though this hard thawed somewaht when I returned through here a few hours later. Viewed from the footpath that links Peelings Lane to Chilley Farm.

Banky Piece
The name of the field according to the 1838 tithe map and the last rise of land before it drops down to Hankham Level to the north. Mill Farm can be seen in the distance to the right whilst the ground has a layer of frost covering it.

Linkway
The name of the path on which the bungalows beyond are located. The path runs through a centre of a small estate built in the 1950s on what was once Barrack Field which was the location of a barracks during the Napoleonic Wars. The path run between Castle View Gardens and St John's Drive.
