Rose Hill, Brighton
A residential street that links Union Road to Upper Lewes Road that was originally developed in the 1830s though parts have been replaced. On the left Button Court built in the 1960s replaced numbers 6-8 whilst on the right is the Salvation Army Congress Hall built in 2000 to replace an older 1883 building.

Brighton Business Centre
Built in 1854 as a Diocesan training college for schoolmistresses until 1939 when it was requisitioned by the Royal Engineers who used it as a records office until 1987 when it was converted into its current use as office space. The building stands on the crossroads of the A270 (Viaduct Road/Upper Lewes Road) and Ditchling Road on its way up Round Hill.

Upper Lewes Road
The A270, formerly the A27, marks the boundary in the Round Hill district between the middle class villas on the northern side and the smaller terraces for the lower classes wedged between this road and Lewes Road and constructed in the 1860s. Taken from the junction with Rose Hill.
