Sovereign Harbour Retail Park
Chain stores and supermarkets and giant car parks give the place a soulless feeling. Built on the site of The Crumbles a former shingle bank.

Near Pevensey ? 1966
The view was taken, from a passing bus, to include the old bus, which has remained unidentified (except that it is a Dennis chassis).
The main interest in the view is that it shows this section of the coast before the enormous Sovereign Harbour development arrived. The Martello Tower visible in the distance is No.65 at TQ 6470 0217.

These boats are in a marina development, that is part of Sovereign Harbour.

Fishing Boat and fisherman
This fisherman was winding up his net to be stored away before the next trip.
Every so often he would throw tangled up small fish (and other) into the water, which the seagulls (on the mast) would dive down and catch.
