Martello Tower number 66 and the mouth of Sovereign Harbour
This tower is currently though it was used by the coastguard until 1989. Full history can be found http://www.martello-towers.co.uk/south-coast/towers/66.htm . Sovereign Harbour was built on a great shingle bank known as The Crumbles which for a long time was a source of shingle for the railway industry. In the last 10 years a great harbour complex has been built on this site.

I find the colours of the buildings and tower cranes fascinating, the apartments near to completion. Lock gates to entrance of Sovereign Harbour to far left of image.
