The King's Arms public house, number 222 Seaside, is a delightful 'over the top' building. Built circa 1900 with a front of red brick with rendered dressings and rendered side elevations, all under a tile mansard roof. Many original internal fittings and features remain. Brodie Hall, Seaside, is a church school adjoining Christ Church Image Constructed of knapped flint with red and yellow brick bands under a slate roof. The school predates the church and was used for services until the church was completed in 1859.
