South Downs Way eastern beginning - Eastbourne, Sussex
At the start of my South Downs Way walking holiday here on the edge of the town, where Eastbourne meets the South Downs. For the first time this Geographer appears in one of his own photos on this site. At that time the way ended near Sunwood Farm, Buriton but its western end now reaches Winchester after about 100 miles of walking. Further information is available on the National Trails website.
