South Cliff runs parallel to and slightly above King Edward's Parade. The junction ahead is with St John's Road and South Cliff Avenue. The Martello Tower can be seen in the distance.

On the Promenade at Eastbourne
This is a little way south-west of the Martello Tower and beyond the garden known as West Lawn. Both the South Downs Way and the Wealdway follow this path. Beachy Head can be seen in the distance. This was a fine, if slightly chilly, June evening.
