Memorial tree in Brighton Wild Park
This hawthorn tree has become a memorial for Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway, nine year old girls who were found murdered near here in Brighton Wild Park on October 10th 1986. Local people continue to decorate and re-decorate the tree with pictures of the girls, trinkets, lanterns, flowers, cards and messages.

Herdwicks and other sheep
This bank in Wildpark LNR was famous for its butterflies in Victorian times - especially Adonis and Small Blues. Sheep were put in to graze a south facing slope of the coomb in October 2008. The sheep were believed to be on loan from Southerham, near Lewes.
