Slindon Pottery
The Pottery was established in the mid-1970’s when the building was converted from a builder’s workshop. The building was originally the estate wheelwright and carpenter’s shop.
The pottery is usually open daily from 10.30 – 12.00 and 2.00 – 4.00 (but closed on Tuesdays). See http://www.slindon.com/industry-artistry/slindon-pottery/

House on Slindon Top Road
This house has a nice symmetrical look to it, but it was the new gates that really caught my eye. They remind me a bit of those aromatic wooden tea-pot stands, only on a larger scale.

See http://www.amusingplanet.com/2012/02/slindon-pumpkin-festival.html and http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/features/3638094/The-pumpkin-kings-crowning-glory.html for more information and pictures.
On this visit it was getting towards the end of the month and a half the festival runs so the only presence was the cat and you paid for the pumpkins and squashes via an honesty box. The cat was patrolling apart from a brief departure for a bit of food.
