Tortington lane
Originally a dead end lane that left the A27 west of Arundel and headed south to the church, manor and farm. An exit onto Ford Road was constructed when the latter itself was built in 1846 to connect Arundel to Ford station. Looking up the lane from the junction with the footpath that follows the old route to Tortington Priory.

An extension added in the 1920s when the former manor house became a Catholic boarding school for girls. The school closed in 1969 and became a campus for an American college in 1971 until the last decade when it was vacated and the building turned into private apartments and houses.

Pond, The Withy Beds
Viewed from the footpath that links Goose Green with Tortington Lane. Withy Beds were once used to harvest willow for commercial use though this one seems to have been left to become plain woodland.
