Obstruction on the Queen's highway
A concrete kerb across the start of Bread Lane, public byway 197. Apparently placed to deter cars and light vehicles from proceeding, they have found their way around anyway, using a short bypass route on farmer's land around the far end of the hedge and ditch.

Barns on Crookthorn Lane
Sadlers Cottage is to the right. The barns, which are on the far side of the lane, probably belong to Kents Farm, part of which is just showing at the extreme right, on the near side of the lane. Sadlers Cottage was formerly mapped as Kents Cottages.
