A cul de sac that lies off Nepcote Lane. Originally part of a much larger Soldiers Field it was developed in 1934 with the construction of the Convent of the Holy Rood. This Anglican denomination remained here until selling it to the Catholic Convent of Our Lady of Syon in 1967 who continued running it until the early 1990s when costs forced them to move to smaller premises. The site remained empty for a while until plans were submitted to demolish whereupon the locals fought a long battle to prevent it, eventually losing and the planned demolition commencing in 1998. By the turn of the century a 27 house estate had been constructed within the old grounds.

The name of the cul de sac that is located off Nepcote Lane and was developed in the 1960s on a former field called Bolts Field, according to Findon's 1839 tithe map. The hedgerows of this three sided field are still largely in place and can be made out on aerial images.

A view of the section heading west from the junction with Convent Drive. Despite being developed the old hedgerow trees have been maintained to give the old lane a rural look. Onmly the park car hints at the residences that exist behind the trees.

A private road providing access to Image which the building on the left belongs to. Further down on the same side is the hedge that conceals Soldiers Field House, both that and the stables were built for former racehorse trainer Captain Ryan Price in the early 1970s.A few other properties line the right hand side whilst behind the photographer is the entrance to Image The lane is a public footpath that links Nepcote Lane to Stables Lane.

A small terrace built in the late 19th century in what was known as Colonels Field, according to Findon's 1839 tithe map. The cottages I think were part of Nepcote Lodge racing stables for a number of years until its closure in 1955. The road itself joins Image a little to the south then loops round to become Image

Set up in the early 1970s by Captain Ryan Price having moved from nearby Image whom he sold to the then recently retired jockey Josh Gifford. Price remained here until his retirement in the early 1980s whereupon the stables passed through a couple of trainers until acquired by Gifford. Viewed from the entrance on Soldiers Field Lane.

A private road off Nepcote lane that was developed in the early 1960s having once belonged to Nepcote Lodge racing stables that operated here from the end of the 19th century until 1955 when it closed. The field, known as Colonels Field in the 1839 Findon tithe map, was farmed for a few years then developed in the 1960s with houses fronting onto Nepcote Lane, Steep Lane as well as this private road.

This road leads into the village of Findon as indicated by the sign at the roadside. This pub is on the corner of the road leading off the A27 and the A27, and the intersection is in the south western section of the grid square.

This pub is opposite the post office in the centre of Findon.
