Park Roundell
The name of the field according to Findon's 1839 tithe map that was once part of a medieval deer park based around the modern Findon Park Farm. It was disparked sometime in the 16th century. Church Wood is at the far end of the field.

Site of Findon Park (2)
A view of the south eastern part of the former medieval deer park that existed here from the late 12th century until the mid 17th when it was disparked and turned over to agriculture. The circular boundary can be clearly seen here following the site of the old pale which protected the park. Beyond it is a bridleway that heads towards North End.
