A view of the south eastern part of the former medieval deer park that existed here from the late 12th century until the mid 17th when it was disparked and turned over to agriculture. The circular boundary can be clearly seen here following the site of the old pale which protected the park. Beyond it is a bridleway that heads towards North End. Church Hill can be seen in the distance. See also Image
