Nepcote
The name of the lane that heads off to the hamlet of the same name from the A24. The lane turns northwards a little way ahead then makes for Nepcote Green.

Findon By-Pass
Built in 1938 to take motor traffic away from the village's narrow lanes. This section actually uses the course of the old High Street and looks towards the junction s with Cross lane and Nepcote.

The Three Acres
The name of the field according to Findon's 1839 tithe map. For a number of years it was used as allotment gardens but is now overgrown and used for nothing. Viewed from the Findon Bypass with West Hill in the background.

Southways School, Vale House
A mixed independent special school for those aged 7 to 17. Prior to that Vale House was part of another set of racing stables that operated here from the late 19th century to 1988, the last occupant emigrating to Hong Kong to train there. Parts of the former stables lie to the rear of the house and have been converted into classrooms.
