The middle of five blocks of flats built in the 1960s on the site of a former house called Wookyi Tiki. Prior to that it had been a pair of fields called Upper and Lower Greatman's Field.

Sea Lane, Ferring
An ancient lane that once linked the village centre to the sea providing access to the fields. Today it marks the eastern boundary with open fields still separating the southern part of the settlement with neighbouring Goring.

The Twelve Acres
The name of the field according to Ferring's 1837 tithe map that is located to the north of Marine Drive and east of Sea Lane. The house in the distance is The Hayloft. One of the few areas of open field that remain next to the sea on the Sussex coastal plain between Shoreham and Littlehampton.
